Police recover mobile phones worth Rs 2.5 lakhs in Kupwara | KNO

Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNO): In a significant achievement, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kupwara on Thursday said to have recovered 17 mobile phones worth Rs 2.5 lakhs. The recovery was made after strenuous efforts by the technical team of Kupwara Police following several complaints received over time regarding missing mobile phones, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). The recovered mobile phones were handed over to their rightful owners today at the District Police Office Kupwara. The recipients expressed their gratitude and appreciated the relentless efforts of the District Police in ensuring the recovery of their belongings, police said. Meanwhile, police assured the public of their continued efforts in addressing complaints and maintaining safety and security in the region—(KNO)
